A super top place for pizza slices! It isn't the easiest spot to get to, but if you're in Williamsburg, it is a really great place to check out, especially with friends. Their menu is only so big, and the staff can cut your pizzas in half so it's easy to share. We tried the margherita, Burrata with prosciutto, and fig and bacon. My favorite was the burrata and I definitely think including prosciutto is a must for added flavor! the texture of the burrata was great and added a burst of creaminess and thickness to the pizza. Margherita was also great, but wasn't wowed by the bacon and fig unfortunately (though other reviews really called it out)! The prices could get a little steep, but I think Magherita and the burrata with prosciutto were really worth the upcharge. There was a decent line despite it being 4 pm in the afternoon (maybe 20 minutes of wait time), and only outdoor seating without fans, so ran hot as we were eating the pizza. Experience itself wasn't great but you're really coming for the pizza.

i finally understand the hype. new yorkers, locals, food critics, and everyone alike seem to rave for this pizzeria joint - "you can't leave new york without trying this place," my friend even mentioned. we visited on a weekend around 3pm, expecting to avoid the lunch rush, but with a place that recognized, it's difficult to avoid the crowds. the entire process moves quickly: you queue, you order & pay, you wait, and they call your name with your order. there's a few tables outside to enjoy the pizza too - and it's recommended to eat as soon as you get it! we ordered 2 slices of the wild fig & bacon, 1 margherita, and 1 burrata. these are all their top-selling items. wild fig & bacon was the star of the show for me. never have i ever tasted a pizza that successfully combined sweet with savory in a delectable manner. i'm not even sure ive tried fig before, but you have to be borderline genius to come with and execute on this crazy combination. i'm not sure i can go back to eating regular pizza after experiencing this delight.

I've seen L'industrie featured on several platforms deeming it as the quintessential New York City slice. I was violently craving a NY slice on a weekday night and this was the perfect time to grab one. There was a bit of a queue when we got there, but nothing past the end of the block (mind you, this is the second store from the corner). The line wraps around one more time inside, but it moves pretty quickly. I don't think we waited past 15 minutes, which gave us ample time to peruse the menu displayed outside of the window. We already knew we were gonna get the burrata slice, because it's one of their more popular items. The other two slices we decided on were the tartufo and parma slice. Pizza slices were great; they were thin with perfect amount of cheese, sauce and topping and held up well on a crispy crust. No surprise that the burrata was my favorite, but the tartufo came pretty close to it. Honestly can't go wrong with these any of these slices. We really wanted to try their sorbetto or gelato, but unfortunately their machine was down that day. Instead we got a frozen spritz, which was just as refreshing on a summer evening. Loved the overall atmosphere around here! There's no indoor seating, but there's an outdoor seating area with tables you can grab on your own. If all fails, the area is nice to walk around with a slice of pizza and frozen spritz.
